What I make

I make bowls, boxes and other items from wood on my lathe.

I generally source the wood from my locality: cherry from my garden, holly, lime, magnolia, laburnum, and sycamore from neighbours’ gardens. Further afield driftwood is salvaged from the foreshore; logs from friends’ and tree surgeons’ wood piles: ash, yew, beech, cedar etc.

How to buy my products

I sell most of my items at small local craft events and through word of mouth.

When I am given wood I try to return a completed piece. This can take some time as, of course, the wood has to dry.

There are a number of items in the gallery pages that will give you some idea of the type of items I like making.

If you require something specific look on the requests page.
